Creating a campaign for OLLY that raised eyebrows and shifted focus to the almighty V at &Walsh
The Project:
OLLY is a wellness company working to change the way society views and talks about health. We worked on the 2023 Big Vagina Energy campaign featuring their premium line of women’s wellness products. We concepted, scripted and created a 30 second commercial, an OOH campaign extension, and built out a suite of campaign guidelines for OLLY to continue executing their message. We wanted to dive into the meaning behind the Big Vagina Energy message, and craft a campaign that had purpose beyond the headline.
To bring the spot to life in an ownable way, we crafted the OLLYverse — from lighting, set development, and color palette, to the custom typographic elements built into each set and space. We created custom music to bring the whole world to life and developed characters and bold messaging statements to remind women that their body is never an apology.
My Role: Lead Copywriter — I worked with the team at &Walsh and OLLY from ideation stage to finish line, crafting every detail and quirk of the OLLYverse, while writing the script for the :30 ad, as well as implementing Brand Voice and campaign copy across Instagram (paid), TikTok (paid), and the OLLY website.
